Rounding to 10 We have been playing a game to learn how to round to 10 with either a two or three digit number.

 Residential Year 4 had a fantastic time at Exmouth doing Watersports and then at Sidmouth doing mug painting, making our dinner, clearing up, night time walking in the woods, campfire and finishing with Sporty stars.  Loads of fun

Exciting Science week ~ we had a very exciting VR experience about minibeasts. It was really cool to see bugs up close and find out lots of amazing facts.   

  In Year 4 over the last two days we have been very busy learning about crime and punishment. Yesterday we visited Exeter Guildhall to find out how it was used in the past as a court room. Several of the children had to pretend that they were criminals from actual cases that were tried there.  Today a police officer visit and spoke about the role of the Police today. We were lucky enough to have a chance to sit in a police car and see a stinger deployed. A great two days.

 Today we have been writing poems about a colour. We worked in twos or threes to write our poem, thinking carefully about what image we wanted to create in the reader’s mind.

 Eden project March 2026 🌱🌵🌿Well done Year 4; you had a superb day out and were excellent school ambassadors!  You walked up and down plenty of stairs (and across a rope bridge!), and discovered lots of interesting information about the rainforest biomes 🍃🌿🌱
